Participate in the 4th Annual City Kitties Art Show & Auction
Thank you for helping City Kitties make our 4th Annual Art Auction a success! With the help of generous and talented artists like you, we can continue helping stray cats and kittens in need all year long. Please read the below information, then fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Guidelines for Participation
Past auction events have featured photographs, paintings, drawings, sculpture, jewelry, metalwork, pottery, digital art, collaborative work, mixed media pieces, and even a vivarium in a wide variety of styles. We ask that you prepare work for hanging (hardware, hooks, wire, etc.) prior to submission. Please note that if your donated work does not sell, City Kitties will keep it for the next year’s event unless otherwise specified.
Deadline
To participate in the auction, art must be submitted no later than May 1. Art submitted by that day may be displayed in the gallery in the weeks leading up to the event.
How to Submit Art
Please clearly label your work with your name, email address, and the title of the piece. If you live in Philadelphia, fill out the form at the bottom of this page, and we will be in touch to arrange drop-off or pick-up. If you live outside of the area, please submit the form below, and we will contact you with a mailing address.
Donor Acknowledgment
If you would like a letter acknowledging your in-kind donation for tax purposes, please specify this. We will email you a letter in PDF format no later than June 1. Please note that City Kitties cannot estimate the value of your work; we will only describe what was donated.
Starting Bids
You can assign a starting bid, or we will assign one for you. We have found that low starting bids ($30 and under) foster bidding wars and ultimately drive up the selling price. If you would like to donate a high-value piece with a high starting bid, please consider inviting clients who may be interested in bidding.
Images of Your Work
If you have digital images of your work you would like included in publicity leading up to the event, you can attach them using the form below. (Please note that a large file size could cause an error.)
