Ash

Adult Male

Ash survived the massive fire at the Windermere Court Apartments in West Philly on January 10. Firefighters pulled him from the building. Ash suffered some singed whiskers and sores in his mouth from all the heat and smoke, but otherwise was miraculously unharmed. He then spent 5 days at animal control, but his owner never claimed him, so City Kitties pulled him from the shelter and placed him in a foster home. Despite his ordeal, Ash is a friendly, calm, and sweet cat who enjoys cuddling and petting from his foster mom. He would do well in a home by himself or, given time to adjust, with another companion cat. He currently shares his foster home with three other cats. All we want for this sweet guy is a forever home for the rest of his life--a place where he can feel safe, secure, and loved. Please give Ash the stable, loving home he so sorely deserves.

Ash is about 1-3 years old, neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with rabies and FVRCP vaccines, microchipped, and flea/parasite-free. Adoption application and $85 adoption fee required.  Adoption application is available online at www.citykitties.org.

What makes adopting from City Kitties different?  We provide the highest-quality veterinary care for our foster cats and kittens.  Since they live in foster homes, you can see our adoptable animals in a familiar, stress-free environment, and their foster parents can tell you all about their personalities.  If you have questions a week, a month, or even a year after adoption, we're available for guidance and support.
