Congratulations on your new bundle of fur! We love seeing formerly homeless cats and kittens find happy forever homes. To streamline the adoption process, we request that adopters pay their adoption fee online via Paypal (no Paypal account needed to use a credit or debit card).

City Kitties’ adoption fee is $85 per cat/kitten. This fee subsidizes veterinary care, including wellness exam, spay/neuter, vaccinations against FVRCP and rabies, FIV/FeLV testing, flea/parasite treatment, and other necessary care. The fee is refundable for 30 days, should the adoption not work out for any reason (we will always take an adopted animal back, for any reason, at any time).

Because veterinary care for each cat always costs more than $85, the adoption fee is not a tax-deductible donation. If you would like to make an additional tax-deductible donation, please use the button below to pay your adoption fee first, then make your donation separately by visiting the Donate section of our website.

If you have just filled out an adoption application or your application is still being processed, please do not pay the adoption fee. A member of City Kitties’ adoption team will let you know when it is time to pay the fee (usually the day before or day of the scheduled adoption).
