Enid

Adult Female

If you are looking for smart, playful, and adventurous companion, look no further than Enid! Enid and her brother Alvie, were rescued from a front end loader when they were 5 days old along with their mom.  A landscaper contacted City Kitties because he needed to use the machine, but didn't want to disturb the new family.  Enid was placed in a foster home where she grew, and grew, and GREW! Enid and Alvy were adopted together, but sadly their new family fell on hard times, and the pair was returned to City Kitties. Enid hasn't let that get her down, though--she is ready to find a happy new home!

Enid will attack cat toys with lust and carry her 'kill' around to show off her skills.  She  loves surprising her brother and engaging in a good tussle.  After a hard day's play, she will curl up for a well deserved nap before starting on her next adventure.  Enid likes to be picked up and have her neck rubbed when she learns to trust you, and goes nuts over the laser pointer.

Enid has never been seperated from her brother Alvy so we would love to find an adopter who can take them both.  They make a terrific duo! However, if you can't adopt two, we think Enid would do just fine in a home with another playful, friendly cat.

Enid is 1 year old, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, received a fecal exam to test for parasites, uses the litterbox, and was treated for fleas and parasites as needed.

About City Kitties' Veterinary Care: We provide high quality veterinary care for our foster cats and kittens. Each animal is spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, and receives age-appropriate vaccinations (FVRCP and rabies), and flea/parasite treatment as needed. Since they live in foster homes, you can see our adoptable animals in a familiar, stress-free environment, and their foster parents can tell you all about their personalities. If you have questions a week, a month, or even a year after adoption, we're available for guidance and support.

How to Adopt from City Kitties: Our adoptable animals are housed in private foster homes. The first step in meeting an adoptable animal is to fill out an adoption application. To ensure a lifelong match between you and your new pet, our adoption process involves an application, reference check, and a visit to your home at the time of adoption. Our adoption fee is $85 to help subsidize the cost of veterinary care. You can read more about the adoption process and fill out an application on our website, www.citykitties.org.
